Seedling Sale

Grow It Green Morristown's Annual Seedling Preorder has ended.  Thank you for your purchases- see you on Saturday for pickups.  Please review pickup details below:

Purchases will need to be made in advance using our online order form.  We are excited to offer a way for you to grow your own food and pollinators.  Please carefully check quantities for number of seedlings you are purchasing prior to checkout. 

• Pickups are Saturday May 16th (rain date May 17th) at The Urban Farm located at 31 Hazel Street behind the Lafayette Learning Center.

• We are operating contact less pickup.

• Staff will be wearing masks and gloves.

• When you arrive at the school, a staff member will be directing traffic.

• Please wait in your car until you reach the pickup station.

• Once at the pickup station, please display a piece of paper with your last name.

• A staff member will place the purchase in your trunk.

• SNAP cards will be accepted on site.

• If you have already purchased a seedling CSA, you do not need to do anything on the online order form.

• Returns after pickup will not be able to be accepted due to COVID-19.  Please carefully check your order before checkout and contact us at [email protected] with any questions.

Please arrive during the following time slots according to the first letter of your last name for seedling sale and seedling CSA pickups:

• 10:00 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. : Last name A - E

• 11:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. : Last name F - L

• 12:30 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. : Last name M - R

• 1:45 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. : Last name S - Z 

Many of our seedlings this year were grown in SOIL BLOCKS as noted in item description.  Growing using soil blocks reduces plastic trash, reduces transplant shock, and provides the seedling with healthier roots! If you are able, we request that you return the plastic trays to the Urban Farm to be sanitized and reused.  We will be providing them to you with your seedlings to facilitate the contact less pickup. 

The online purchase price will include the coverage of the transaction fees at checkout, which helps keep more of the funds from the sale going towards Grow It Green. We appreciate your support for this sale as a means to cover our additional costs of the new procedures this year due to COVID-19.
